Earth Day concert at Williams Chapel, Harvard Divinity School, on 24 April 2022, presented by The Constellation Project with support from the Harvard University Center for the Environment and the Harvard University Planetary Health Alliance.
The Neave Trio (Eri Nakamura, piano; Anna Williams, violin; Mikhail Veselov, cello) performed Maurice Ravel's Piano Trio (1914) with Gathering Light, a video by Sharon Harper filmed in a wilderness community in Vermont between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox of 2021.
I designed an audiovisual software system that automates the editing sequence of the video, linking characteristics of the clips to characteristics of the musical score. I worked remotely from Mexico City and ran the system during the concert.
