Bridge GR–MX is a sound performance with an ambisonic soundscape that builds a sonic bridge between Mexico City and Thessaloniki. I performed it on 27 November 2025 at the opening of CYFEST 17, International Media Art Festival, within the exhibition Natura Naturans: Human Beings, Nature, Landscape at the MOMus Experimental Center for the Arts in Thessaloniki.
The 50-minute piece weaves together field recordings from both cities. Using immersive ambisonic audio, the soundscapes are manipulated in real time and layered with synthesizer textures and sequenced patterns processed through loopers and digital effects.
