A sound-guided meditation in the Meditatio Sonus series, directed by Arcángel Constantini and Marcela Armas, at Arte Abierto, Mexico City, on Sunday 8 June 2025 at 11:00. This edition ran over two days, with a morning and an afternoon meditation; Arcángel Constantini led the afternoon session.
Meditatio Sonus brings audiences together in collective meditations guided by sound. For my session I played electroacoustic piano with repetitive rhythmic patterns inspired by mantras and the rosary, transformed with delays and reverberation to accompany the listening and breathing of the audience, seated on the floor of the gallery.
