Resonant Objects

Resonant objects is an installation composed of 40 recycled metal paint cans intervened with robotic mechanisms, an appropriation of the concept of waste, which, generally, is associated as waste; However, in this proposal, they are used as sound emitters. The relationship between sonority and human interaction is part of the poetics of the work since the public is a fundamental part of the construction of this proposal. The piece includes rhythmic sound patterns executed through the Arduino system (open hardware designed ad hoc for the realization of interactive projects that detect and control real-world objects). It is an installation that plays with percussion, audio, human interaction, and the architecture of the place.
